IC Markets operates under three regulatory entities. The Australian entity, International Capital Markets Pty Ltd, is regulated by the Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC). The European entity, IC Markets EU Ltd, is authorised by the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CySEC) under licence number 362/18. The global entity, Raw Trading Ltd, is regulated by the Seychelles Financial Services Authority (FSA). Client funds are held in segregated accounts with top-tier banking institutions in each jurisdiction.
IC Markets supports MetaTrader 4, MetaTrader 5, and cTrader. MT4 and MT5 servers are co-located at Equinix NY4. cTrader is also supported and includes access to the cTrader FIX API for direct connectivity. The broker additionally integrates with TradingView for charting and order execution on certain entities.
IC Markets offers three live account types. The Standard account is commission-free with spreads from 0.6 pips on major forex pairs and is available on MT4 and MT5. The Raw Spread account offers spreads from 0.0 pips with a commission of $3.50 per lot per side on MetaTrader platforms. The cTrader Raw account mirrors Raw Spread conditions with a slightly reduced commission of $3.00 per lot per side. All accounts require a minimum deposit of $200 USD. Swap-free (Islamic) variants are available across all account types. Demo accounts are available with no expiry.
